ACP IGP Saleem holds maiden review meeting in Mysuru

Mysuru: After assuming charge as Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), MA Saleem for the first time had review meeting with ACB officials belonging to Mysuru range at ACB Office in Mysuru here on Thursday.

Speaking to media he said “total 224 cases including 40 in Mysuru, eight in Ramanagaram and seven in Mandya had been filed so far. ACB Mysuru Range covers Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu and Hassan districts. Apart from Karwar and Udupi, ACB offices have been set up at all the districts headquarters across the state. To carry out work effectively, each office have been provided with vehicles, required computers, a Deputy SP, two inspectors, five constables and a first division assistant”

He also met Southern Range IGP B.K Singh, KPA Director Vipul Kumar, City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, SP Abhinav Khare and other senior police officials to discuss about the training to cops attached to the ACB. ACB Mysuru Division SP BT Kavitha, Deputy SP Gajendra Prasad, Dy.SPs of Mandya and Chamarajanagar were also present during the meeting. Later he also planted sapling at ACB office premise.
