ACP rank officer to probe into Mysuru DC’s complaint case

Mysuru: An officer of the rank of ACP and the police team are likely to probe into the complaint lodged by the DC.

The City police commissioner Dayanand sharing the details said, Devaraja Sub-division ACP Rajashekhar will conduct an inquiry by collecting all the relevant information pertaining to the incident that took place at the government guest house. He will look into the available CCTV footages and will go through the audio recording which the DC has handed over to the police while lodging the complaint. The ACP will also collect information from the DC’s gunman, driver and other government officials who were present at the government guest house during the incident.

The bail application of K.Marigowda will come up for hearing before the city’s 7th additional district sessions court judge on Saturday, July 9th. Police are likely to wait and watch till that hour before proceeding further.

Notice has been served to Marigowda to appear before the police who is absconding at present fearing arrest and is likely to appear in public when the bail petition is moved in the court.

It may be recalled that Marigowda has allegedly misbehaved with DC Shikha by hurling abuses at her over relieving a particular Tahshildar from duty.
