Mysuru: Cooperation and District Incharge Minister S. T. Somashekar on Friday November 5 felicitated sculptor Arun Yogiraj and his family members in the City.
Arun sculpted the statue of Adi Shankaracharya installed at the grave of the eighth century saint Adi Guru Shankaracharya at Kedarnath in Uttarakhand that was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Arun along with his wife and mother were felicitated at Shilpa Kala Kendra near Basaveshwara circle here.
Mayor Sunanda Phalanetra, MLA L. Nagendra, D. Devaraja Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation Chairman R. Raghu Kautilya, BJP City Unit President T. S. Srivatsa, Farmer Leader Mallesh, City Spokesman M. A. Mohan and Media Convenor Cable Mahesh were present.
