Mysuru: Former CM and BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa is in trouble for violating the Election Commission rules by giving money to a party worker while returning from a village level meet as part of the campaigning for Nanjangud by-polls here on March 13.
Mysuru DC D Randeep has directed Election Officer of Nanjangud, Jagadish to look into the matter and register a complaint if needed.
It is learnt that on Monday Yeddyurappa held a open meeting at Hullahalli ahead of Nanjangud polls and when a party worker asked for money, he opened the car window and gave it to him.
