Mysuru: Voting for the Nanjangudu/Gundlupet is over and now that the results are being awaited, both the constituencies are abuzz with betting activities. The results will be out on April 13, but the impatient lot have started betting over the results.
It is said that 80 per cent of people participatings in the betting have placed their money on the Congress while only 20 per cent are for the BJP. What more, people have put their property, gold, bikes and even domesticated animals on stake this time. Tea stalls, booth-level offices and residences of the loccals leaders are bustling centres of activities.
All in all the betting craze, which was once confined ot cricket matches has spread its wing into politics as well!
