CCB Arrests 12 for Gambling, Seizes Cash and Drugs in Multiple Raids

City Crime Branch (CCB) officers, along with Alanahalli police, arrested 12 individuals for illegal betting and gambling on a card game in Mysuru. During Thursday’s raid, authorities recovered ₹70,000 in cash and materials used for gambling. Alanahalli police have registered a case, and the investigation is ongoing.

In another operation, CCB officers seized 35 grams of banned MDMA drugs, valued at ₹1 lakh, and arrested a man involved in drug trafficking near Byraveshwara School in Mahadeshwara Layout. The raid followed a tip-off, with Vijayanagar police registering the case.

Meanwhile, Metagalli police recovered three stolen autorickshaws worth ₹2.6 lakh and arrested one person. The arrest occurred during routine patrolling when the suspect was found with a stolen vehicle near the Outer Ring Road.
