Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) police busted a prostitution racket run by a couple at a salon and spa in Bogadi limits of the city and arrested them on the night of December 20. They also managed to rescue one girl during the raid.
Rajesh and his wife were running “Like Trend Salon and Spa Centre” on the first floor of the main road in Bogadi and misused the same premises as a hub for hi-tech prostitution.
The rescued girl revealed that film actors and directors frequented the centre to satiate their sexual desires. The parlor owner Rajesh used to sexually abuse the victims first, mainly young girls visiting the parlour and record the episode to blackmail the hapless victims, girl said in her statement to CCB police. Many girls have fallen victims in the past to their ploy, the girl revealed.
Police have subjected Rajesh and his wife to further investigation after arrest at the Sarawathipuram Police Station.
