Chamarajanagara: As many as 12 goats were killed after being struck by lightning on the outskirts of Chennur in Shettalli Gram Panchayat limits of Hanur Taluk of the District.
The incident occurred on Wednesday April 5 due to thunder and lightning and the goat’s owner, Special Chetan Venkatabhovi. Bhadrayanahalli Ooru Gowda Krishnegowda has urged the concerned authorities to rush to the spot and provide suitable compensation.
Special Chetana Venkatabovi, the owner of the goats, was shocked by the unexpected accident and had donated lakhs of rupees in front of his eyes. With the death of goats worth Rs. 1,000, there is a concern about what will happen next. Lakhs of rupees have been lost due to the death of the goats which had been reared on loan.
