Chamarajanagara: A Panchayat Project Development officer who was returning after the Republic Day function was seriously injured in a road accident on the Ramapura – Dinnalli Route.
Injured Somashekar was the PDO of Dinnaali. Somashekar was returning after hoisting the National Flag at his office when a goods autorickshaw hit the bike. As a result, Somashekhar suffered severe head injuries.
The injured were immediately rushed to Ramapura Primary Health Centre where they were given first aid and later shifted to Kamagere Hospital for further treatment.
