Chamarajanagara: The Forest Department staff arrested three persons on Thursday October 6 on charges of trespassing in to reserve forest and were roaming around with guns.
It is said that forest guards who were on beat at Alambadi near Gopinatham in Hanur Taluk found the accused in the wee hours. The officials arrested the three and handed over to Male Mahdeshwara
Police. It is said that the three possess a country made gun and high quality air gun.
The arrested were identified as Marimuthu of Hogenakal Village of
Hanur Taluk, Kavin Kumar and Vignesh of Nallampatti Village in Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to News Karnataka Male Mahadeshwara Hills Police Station Sub Inspector Siddaraju said that Kavin Kumar studying fourth year MBBS in Coimbatore Medical College.
Police registered a case
against three and produced them before Hanur JMFC Court which remanded them to judicial custody of 14 days.
