Hannur: Police have apprehended three individuals who were attempting to sell marijuana near the renowned religious pilgrimage site, Male Mahadeshwara Hill. The arrested suspects have been identified as Abhishek (23) from Bangalore, Adarsh (22) from Haveri, and Udayakumar (22) from Mysore. They were found in possession of a significant quantity of potent marijuana, evidently with the intention of selling it at inflated prices to devotees visiting the Male Mahadeshwara Hill.
The police took swift action based on credible information and conducted a raid led by Inspector Nanjundaswamy and his team around 5 PM. During the operation, a total of 190 grams of potent marijuana was seized. The case has been officially documented at the Mahadeshwara Hill Police Station. Notably, the operation also included the presence of Dr. Jahnavi, the medical examiner, and police personnel Aslam Pasha, Ambareesh, and Paramanand.
