Chamarajanagar: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has appointed U T Khader, minister for food, civil supplies and consumer affairs as the district in-charge minister of Chamarajanagar.
The post was vacant after the sudden demise of Cooperation and Sugar minister H S Mahadevaprasad on January 13. The decision was taken by the chief minister on Tuesday.
Khader has served as the district in-charge minister of Kolar for two and a half years.
