Children’s sales racket: One more nabbed, 15-day-old infant rescued

Mysuru: In continued action against the children’s sale racket that was busted in the city, the police have arrested one more accused and rescued three children including an infant aged 15 days. The cops have so far rescued five kids who were struck in this racket.
SP’s initiative of friendly-policing blows off lid over child sale racket-1The police had formed a special team to look into the children’s sales racket that was unearthed in Mysuru some days ago. In a shocking finding by the police, a contract worker of K R Hospital and a nurse who was cheating people in guise of a doctor were nabbed along with four others. However, the police now arrested one Francis from Gundlupet, who is the husband of the said nurse. It is in his custody that the police found a 15 day old toddler and on basis of information eked out from him, they rescued two other kids.

The police are expecting to eke out more details on the functioning of the racket soon.
