Mysuru: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) registered a complaint against former minister A Ramadas of BJP, citing violation of prohibitory orders in front of SSLC examination centers in the city.

Ramadas had distributed pens and given away roses to students taking exams this morning, which he termed as a gesture to encourage them by driving their fear of exams and instill confidence in them.

However, NSUI alleged that the former minister got involved in cheap publicity stunts to draw political mileage and had done everything by flouting the prohibitory orders in the vicinity.

They registered a complaint against the former minister in Lakshmipuram police station, demanding action against him.
