Cycle Agarbathies observes National Safety Day

Mysuru: Cycle Pure Agarbathies of NR Group, held its National Safety Day recently. The programme was held at the N. Ranga Rao & Sons, Corporate Office, Mysuru, in the presence of Ravi D Channannavar, Superintendent of Police.

On the occasion, the Best Safe Practice Award was announced. The awardees were selected after four internal audits, across 10 units. Spiritual Products Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the 1st prize, while the 2nd and 3rd places went to Colour Incense stick unit and Masala Incense stick unit respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi D Channannavar said, “Safety measures should not only be a part of industrial ecology but it should be a way of life. However, given the nature of the industries, we should give utmost importance to safety here. We should observe and adopt the best practices from each other and standardise them. Most importantly, we should always understand that everyone has a role to play in an organisation. With such efforts, we encourage people to adopt safety measures in their day-to-day lives; it also effectively sets the standards for safety measures in industries.”
