Mysuru: The district administration will be organising guided tours in air-conditioned buses for visiting tourists during the 10 days of Dasara, starting September 22.
Disclosing the details of the package at a special media briefing, Deputy Commissioner D Randeep said tourists will be taken around the five palaces and three museums in the city during the course of the guided tour.
The Dasara Festival Committee in coordination with the state tourism department will host two special cultural programmes too, DC Randeep stated.
District In-charge Minister H C Mahadevappa will inaugurate the Dasara-2017 special guided tour programme at the West Gate of the palace on September 22 and it will last till October 10.
Two full fledged air-conditioned buses will be employed for the purpose and the day’s guided tour will begin at 10 AM in the morning and conclude by 6.30 PM in the evening.
Lunch will be provided at Lalith Mahal Palace Hotel and the guided tour package costs Rs 999 for each person.
