Mysuru: As the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition government is going through a tumultous patch following the resignation of two rebel Congress leaders MLAs Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi, the coalition is in for yet another shock with JDS leader G T Devegowda making a statement in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

GTD, who was on inspection of developmental projects with the BJP MLAs, here on Tuesday, July 2 said that, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah should not be blamed for any confusions that are occurring in the Karnataka state politics. The duo are not the reason behind the resignation of MLAs Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi.”

“PM Modi is busy in negotiating national and international related issues with global leaders. Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Modi are currently concentrating on the upcoming budget session. Hence, the question of they both destabilizing the state coalition government does not arise”, he added.

He also firmly stood by his statements and has said that it was not ethical to play dirty political game, everytime.
