Mysuru: A man who was facing charges of double murder was finally nabbed by the police after eight year of committing the crime.Isaac Pasha (40) had killed his wife Suraiah Bhanu and sister in-law Siddiqui Bhanu on May 8, 2009 charging his wife of infidelity.
In a fit of rage, Pasha had attacked his wife with a chisel, on her chest. When Siddiqui Bhanu tried to stop him, he had fatally assaulted even her and had fled the scene.
The two sisters had succumbed to injuries after battling for life in K R Hospital for four days. Udayagiri police registered double murder case and had tried all possible means to locate Pasha.
However, after eight long years, the police got a tip off that Pasha was visiting his relative at D G Halli in Bengaluru, following which the police reached Bengaluru and nabbed him. He revealed to the police that he was living in Rajasthan all this while and has even confessed to the crime.
He is in judicial custody.
