Mysuru: A 30-year-old married woman committed suicide allegedly due to family feud. Her family has accused her husband and his family members of driving her to take the extreme step.
Gayathri (30), a resident of Nanjangud is the deceased housewife.
Married to Shivakumar 10 years ago, the couple lived in a leased accommodation in Anand Nagar area of the city.
Continuous harassment by husband and her family drove Gayathri to suicide, allege family members. In addition, they allege that Shivakumar was involved in an illicit affair repeatedly forced Gayathri to get more money.
The incident took place at Anand Nagar in Saraswatipuram police station limits.
