Mysuru: Famous playback singer Vijaya Prakash’s father L Ramasesha(72) died on Sunday, in a private hospital in Mysore.
He was ailing since a year and was admitted to the hospital five days ago. He did not respond to the treatment and breathed his last at 5.30 am today.
Vijaya Prakash who is in the United States of America due to some program will be reaching Mysore on Monday. The last rites of his father will be performed on Tuesday, according to family sources.
Ramasesha was also a music pandit. Vijaya Prakash learnt classical music under his guidance.
