Mysuru: “Real Star” Upendra had a tough time handling the crowd that gathered around him when he reached the city, here on Sunday, June 30.
Upendra had come to Gayatri theatre in the city to promote his new release “I Love You.”. At this point in time, hundreds of fans thronged to click a selfie with him creating a sense of confusion. However, Upendra is said to have gracefully obliged to the demands of the fans.
Speaking to media, Upendra said, “The movie is running successfully all over the state. I am on a promotion journey in several districts. Currently, I am the only one from the movie team, who is on promotion activity and in coming days, rest of the members from the team will join the process.”
“I’ll not do movies keeping in mind my political party ‘Prajakiya’. It’ll take several years for the message of the party to actually reach the people. The elections in this country shall not be contested on the basis of a person or party. A time will definitely come, when the elections will be contested based on agendas”, he added
