Mysuru: Do you have problems with your hearing aid? Here is an opportunity to get it fixed free of cost. The Department of Electronics of the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing Mysuru is organising a five-day ‘Free Hearing Aid Repair Camp’ at the institute premises from November 26 to 30.
In this camp, any individual with a hearing aid can walk in and get it serviced or repaired free of cost. The replacement of spares would also be done for free. The camp will have repair counters set up by all the major suppliers of hearing aid in the country such as Hansaton, Oticon, Amplifon, Arphi and Auditivo. All hearing aid users are requested to make use of this opportunity.
Last year, during a similar camp organised by the institute, more than 500 persons from this state, as well as the neighbouring Kerala and Tamil Nadu, benefited. This year also a similar turnout is expected for the camp. All sort of repairs will be undertaken free of cost.
Member of Parliament Prathap Simha will inaugurate the camp on November 26 at the institute premises at 9.30 AM. M Pushpavathi, Director, AIISH will preside.
