Mysuru: As the 2019 Lok Sabha election is inching closer, hot discussions on placing the right candidate in the battleground is on across political fraternity. Following this development, former MLA H M Revanna from the Congress party has expressed here on Sunday, January 20, that he too is an able candidate to contest from the Bengaluru North Constituency, which is the constituency of Janata Dal (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda.
H M Revanna said that he too has worked hard and sincerely over the last 12 years in the constituencies such as Magadi and Hebbal. He has communicated about his wish to the party leaders as well, it is said.
According to him, the Congress party has an upper hand in Bengaluru North and that whether he will take on JDS Supremo in this constituency or the veteran leader and former PM will be urged to sacrifice the seat will be discussed in the coalition meeting.
