Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested the people of Mandya district to vote for Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh, here on Tuesday, April 9.
Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party rally at the Maharaja College ground in the city, he said, “I request the people of Mysuru and Mandya to vote for Sumalatha Ambareesh and help her emerge victorious.”
Mentioning the name of actor/politician Late M H Ambareesh, he said, “Ambareesh has strived hard for the development of Mysuru and Karnataka on the whole. His contribution towards the development of the city and state is immense.”
“ I request you all to support Sumalatha and help her win the elections, so that she can continue the projects and good deeds left behind by her husband Ambareesh”, he added.
