Nanajangud: The Hosur villagers under Nanjangud constituency which is set for by- polls on April 9 piled their problems on basic infrastructure issues and sought immediate remedy from the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during his election campaign on April 7.
CM received a huge list of complaints from the villagers while he was seeking seeking votes for the Congress candidate Kalale Krishnamurthy. Hundreds of villagers came forward with applications listing their problems, mainly related to poor drinking water supplies, bad condition of roads, underground sewage system in Hosur village limits.
Accepting the complaints, CM Siddaramiah said, “Your area MLA (referring to Srinivas Prasad) should have solved your problems by now. Since his resignation has resulted in a by-poll, I request you to elect Congress candidate Kalale Krishnmurthy to hasten development in the area.”
A total of Rs 500 Crore has been sanctioned to Nanajangud Assembly constituency by the government to improve basic infrastructure in the area and all villagers including Hosur will benefit in the near future where drinking water, roads and drain problems will be resolved, CM assured.
