Mysuru: A 35-year-old man committed suicide after he found that his wife had executed theft in the house of her master.
The deceased is Raju, a resident of V V Mohalla. According to Police, Raju’s wife Latha, who works as a housemaid was accused of stealing ornaments from the house where she was employed. During interrogation, she had confessed to the crime and soon the police had recovered the stolen ornaments and returned it to the legitimate owners of the valuables.
Even after the case was closed, Raju remained dejected over the fact that his wife could even be a part of such a heinous crime. Out of shame, Raju ended life by consuming poison. VV Puram Police have registered a case and are investigating.
