Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a husband who was fed up with his wife stabbed her 22 times and killed her in a drunken stupor on Tuesday. The incident took place at Vidyaranyapuram.
Deepa(25), wife of Gopal is the deceased. She had married Gopal, a resident of Metagalli eight-years-ago.
Gopal who was addicted to alcohol, used to quarrel with his wife everyday and it is learnt that Deepa had even left Gopal and had started living with her parents.
On Tuesday, Gopal went to his wife’s house and stabbed her 22 times and escaped.
A case has been registered at Vidyaranyapuram police and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
