Indebted to people of Chamundeshwari constituency: CM

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that Chamundeshwari constituency has given political rebirth to him and that he would want to contest his last elections from the very same constituency.

“I have been indebted to the people of this constituency. I would want to win from this constituency to repay the debt,” he said adding that he was confident of the people of the constituency and presiding deity of Mysuru- Goddess Chamundeshwari will standing by him.

Taking part in road shows and canvassing events in various parts of Chamundeshwari constituency, the CM said that no CM of the state had made efforts to celebrate Kempegowda Day.

“We have formed Kempegowda Authority and named Bengaluru Airport as Kempegowda Airport. The JD(S) and the BJP is jealous of the developmental works done by us and hence both of them are trying to defeat me,” he said adding that even at present Rs 400 cr funds have been released to complete various developmental works.

Talking about voters from Eluvalu vilage, the CM said that the voters here had given him a lead both in victory and in defeat and hence he remained indebited to them.

“I request the voters to cast their votes in large numbers and stand by me,” he said.

CM’s son Dr Yatheendra and various other leaders were present.
