Mysuru: Over 60 tourists from Jaipur, who landed at Mysuru Railway Station took it by storm but, the court took the tourists to task for their uncivilised behaviour.
It is said that the tourists had reached the station on Tuesday and within no time, they turned the station into their home!
Several of them turned on the water hydrants and started having a bath on platform number 1. Surprisingly, none, including the health inspector whose office is close to platform-1, objected to the same.
However, the situation was taken seriously only after the higher-ups, who learnt about the issue, directed the Railway Protection Force to tackle the problem.
The RPF that swung into action, nabbed three persons having a bath on the platform and produced them before the court. They have been slammed with a penalty of Rs 200 for creating a nuisance in a public place. The trio was booked under Railway Act 154(B), which is related to nuisance.
