Kodagu: Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Dr. B. C. Satish said that the election notification will be issued on Thursday April 13 for the Assembly elections and the process of submitting nomination papers will begin.
Thursday April 20 is the last day to submit nomination papers. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on April 21. April 24 is the last day to withdraw nomination papers. Voting will be held on May 10.
DC Dr. B C. Satish has informed that the counting of votes will be held on May 13.
Regarding the Madikeri Assembly Constituency nomination papers can be submitted to the Election Officer’s Office (Deputy Divisional Officer’s Office) of the Madikeri Assembly Constituency. Regarding the Virajpet Assembly Constituency, the DC and the District Election Officer said that the nomination papers can be submitted to the office of the Virajpet Assembly Constituency Election Officer (Virajpet Tahasildar Office).
