Kodagu: Primary and Secondary Education Minister B. C. Nagesh has said that the State Government will collect details of Arabic schools in the State to know how the students are taught.

Speaking to mediapersons here in Madikeri, he said that there are 106 aided and 80 unaided Arabic schools in the State. “There are allegations that education is not imparted properly in the schools. So, we are collecting details,” he added.

“Every year around 27,000 students get admitted in these schools. However, only 2,000 students appear for the SSLC examination. There are allegations that in these schools, the language and Science subjects are not taught properly. To find a solution to these problems, we will collect details,” he clarified.
