Kodagu: Two men held with weed in Virajpet

Kodagu: District Police arrested two men for selling weed in the City on Monday July 3. The accused has been identified as N. A. Ponnanna and H. R. Lohith. The accused were caught near the bus stop in Muttappa Temple on Ammathi road in Virajpet.

Virajpet DYSP Mohan Kumar confirmed that the two accused persons, who are residents of Virajpet, were found in possession of 104 gm of weed. The seized contraband was taken by the operation team.

DYSP Mohan Kumar said, “Illegal activities have been taking place in the District for a while, and we are working together under the guidance of the DC to combat these activities.”

The operation involved Virajpet DYSP Mohan Kumar, CPI B. S. Shivarudrappa, and PSI Manjunath.
