Madikeri: MLA K G Bopaiah flagged off the “Seva Saptah” programme, an initiative by the Central Government, here on Saturday, September 14, as a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday (September 17) celebrations.
Under Bopaiah’s supervision, the programme was flagged off, by cleaning the roads that fall under the Bettageri Gram Panchayat.
District Convener of Seva Saptah, Mahesh Jaini provided all the necessary information regarding the programmes that will be organized in the district.
District Co-convener of Seva Saptah Anitha Povaiah, Town Convener Kangiri Ashwin Satish, President of Zilla Panchayat B A Harish and others were present.
