Mysuru: Citing that a branded footwear showroom near the Rural Central Bus Stand here had placed footwear on a piece of cloth bearing the colour of the Karnataka flag, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists picketed the showroom and vandalized the property. Fearing the activists, the store employees fled from the spot.
The Vedike activists stated that they would never tolerate disgrace to Kannada or the Karnataka flag in any form. Demanding stern action against the store owner, the activists protested outside the store for some time.
On the other hand, the public taking advantage of the situation, rushed into the store to grab some footwear and derive fun in the process.
