Panic has gripped Badanaval village after a leopard was spotted in a local farmer’s field. The big cat was seen at night near the land belonging to Chethan, who managed to capture the leopard on his mobile camera as it approached.
The leopard attacked and killed a pet dog in the field, raising serious safety concerns. Villagers are now afraid to step out or visit their fields, especially after dark.
The Forest Department has been urged to take immediate action to trap and relocate the leopard to ensure public safety.
