Madikeri: The Codava National Council (CNC) in its continued struggle demanding an autonomous status for Kodagu District has called for New Delhi Chalo Satyagraha by Kodavas on November 1, 2016.
The demands include union territory status, reservation as martial tribal race in the scheduled list, include Kodava language in the eighth schedule of the constitution and various other demands.
A massive demonstration has been planned in front of Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. The demands are not met the agitation will continue, CNC President N U Nachappa Codava has stated.
