Madikeri: Condemning the killing of Hindus in West Bengal, the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajarang Dal’s district unit staged a joint protest here on Tuesday, October 15.
Protesting in front of the General Thimmayya Circle, they demanded stringent action against the murderers.
Chief Secretary of the VHP’s district unit, D Narasimha said, “On October 10, in Murshidabad, Bondu Prakash Pal and his family were brutally murdered. This is nothing but a blatant attack on Hindus. The West Bengal government is responsible for this.”
“For political gains, some of the political parties are taking the side of anti-nationals. This is causing a serious national threat. Hindus are becoming targets every time,” he added.
Meanwhile, the protestors urged that the West Bengal government be dissolved and that the President’s rule be imposed. They also demanded that the case be handed over to the CBI and the illegal Bangla migrants to be sent out of the national borders.
The protestors also demanded strict vigil by the NIA on anti-nationals.
