Madikeri: South division forest sleuths arrested two miscreants responsible for setting Pattighat Reserve Forest on fire in drunken stupor.
Uday Kumar and his friend Prasanna were nabbed along with their Jeep, in connection with the incident.
Based on a definite tip-off, the forest staff led by Deputy Conservator of Forests Manjunath nabbed the duo near Kalgundi.
The forest wealth spread over 40 acres area was destroyed in and around Paniyar and Kanthabail areas of Pattighat Reserve Forest after the duo set fire.
