Madikeri: A special musical titled ‘Gaana Yaana’ has been organised on November 23 evening at Cauvery Kalashethra in association with State Ministry of Information and Public Communications.
The event is organised to showcase the glory of Kannada culture and the role of songs in augmenting the growth of Kannada film Industry. The songs will also relate to human day-to-day lives and the evening will draw the curtains on Rajyotsava celebrations in the district.
Leading singers including Chethan Nayak, playback singer Divya Ramachandra, Rakshitha Avadhani,Yede Thumbi Haduvenu fame singer Karthik and budding talent Niveditha are likely to take part in the program led by Kashi from Shivamogga.
Munna on Tabla, Monic on Keyboard, Veeresh on guitar from Rahman school of Music, Chennai will be part of the orchestra team led by Deepak. Deepak on the 60th anniversary of State’s unification will project the importance of Gaana Yaana.
Music lovers from the city and surrounding areas can float in lyrics and music in the program where Zilla Panchayath President B A Harish, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza, Superintendent of Police Dr Rajendra Prasad and other leading dignitaries will be in attendance.
