Madikeri: Activists of Hindu outfits including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal celebrated the success of Indian Air Force’s (IAF) surgical strike, which targeted the biggest training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammad and other terror outfits in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). The celebration took place in the city’s General Thimmayya circle.
Speaking on the occassion, VHP Secretary for Southern Province, Keshava Hegde said, “Pakistan based terror outfit had attacked Indian soldiers on February 14, in a suicide bomb attack. India’s surgical strike 2.0 is a befiiting reply to the cowardly act of Pakistan and its terror groups”.
VHP President for Southern Province, MB Puranik said, “Indian Air Force’s response to Pulwama attack has boosted the spirit of the Indian Army. The day when Pakistan’s terrorrist activities are all put to an end is not far. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is determined to put an end to terrorist organizations and we have to support him in this mission”.
D Narasimha, VHP District Secretary, BB Bharathish, District BJP President, Robin Subbaiah, General Secretary, Tata Boppaiah, VHP District President, Sharan Pumpwell, VHP Provincial Secretary and hundreds of activists were present in the event.
