Madikeri: The Kodava Makkada Koota in association with Kodagu Press Club will release its 25th book “The Major Who Kept His Cool” at 10 AM on Sunday, April 28, at Madikeri Patrika Bhavan Hall.
Kodava Makkada Koota President Bollajira B Aiyappa will preside over the event which will be inaugurated by Retd. Air Marshal Kodandera C Cariappa, PVSM, VM.
Lt. Gen. Dr. B N B M Prasad, SM, VSM, President of Kodagu (Coorg) Ex-Servicemen Personnel Association Maj. Gen. Bachamanda A Kariappa, Maj. Gen. Kodandera Arjun Muthanna, SM, President of Field Marshal Cariappa Gen. Thimmaiah (FMCGT) Forum Col. Kandrathanda C Subbayya, VSM are the chief guests for the event.
Maha Vir Chakra awardee Lt. Col. Puttichanda S Ganapathi (on whom the book is based), President of Kodagu Press Club Ajjamada Ramesh Kuttappa, Convener of Book Releasing Committee B C Dinesh and author of the book Mookonda Nitin Kushalappa are the guests of honour.
“Maha Vir Chakra awardee Lt. Col. Puttichanda S Ganapathi and author Mookonda Nitin Kushalappa will be honoured during the event,” said Bollajira B Aiyappa.
