Mandya: In a development that seems rather comical, the state unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched an unusual ‘hunt’ to trace the whereabouts of Housing Minister M.H. Ambareesh.
The party’s stand is that it has been looking for Ambareesh, who is in-charge of Mandya district, for the last two weeks to discuss issues related to crop loss in the district, relief for farmers and reopening of sugar factory.
However, all their efforts to find him met failure. They said that they had even gone to his offices in Bengaluru and Mandya and several phone calls to his mobile have gone unanswered.
AAP Leader Ravi Krishna Reddy is quoted in media saying that they are worried for him as he is not even seen in the legislature session either.
On a serious note, Reddy, stating that Ambareesh lacks seriousness to serve people, has also demanded the CM to drop the star turned politician from the state cabinet.
