Mandya: Shivappa, who was popularly known for his Butter Idli, passed away early morning on Friday October 21 after he succumbed to his injuries in an accident.
Shivappa was on his way to Ramanagar on a scooter when a dog crossed the road. The old man fell on the road and got injured. He was then immediately rushed to the hospital, treated and escorted back home.
On the midnight of Thursday October 20 he underwent severe pain and he died enroute Bengaluru for further treatment.
Shivappa will be alive in the memories of thousands of idli lovers. Shivappa’s cremation will be held near Darasaguppe Village of Srirangapattana Taluk.
