Mandya: Pancharatna Rath Yatra led by JD (S) has also been moving successfully for the past several days. The Yatra entered Maddur the District on Wednesday December 21 and will reach village to village in the district for seven days.
MLA Anndani and JD (S) workers gave a grand welcome to the Rath Yatra that arrived at Malavalli taluk of the district. A garland of jaggery is placed by a crane and flowers are showered on rath. The Pancharatna Yatra will be held in around 60 villages in the district and thousands of activists are celebrating with a bike rally. Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy started the programme at Halaguru in Malavalli and expressed his happiness for the people of Mandya. The Pancharatna Yatra has entered its 26th day today and is progressing successfully. He said that the people of the district are welcoming our party programme and are giving us love and blessings.
He said that JD (S) will win all seven constituencies of the District. People have already extended their moral support to the party. He expressed confidence that people have decided to bring sons of soil back to power by voting JD (S). Talking about the release of the first list of party candidates, there will be no change in the ticket list. The ticket has changed only in Belagavi. I have also spoken to Parampujya Swami on phone. He said that he has given information to discuss the community.
Some Congress leaders are doing caste politics. BJP is doing religious politics. It is not right to drag communities into elections. Also, I don’t know if the BJP is going to cause trouble in the election he added.
