Mandya: “The Congress leaders talk with compassion about Tipu Sultan and terrorists. The people and law will not excuse them if they get into such works,” said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Addressing Jan Sankalp Yatra in Pandavapura town on Friday December 16, he said in ‘Anna Bhagya’ Scheme of the previous Congress Government the rice was of Modi but only the sack with the photo of Siddaramaiah was of the then State Government. The Congress leaders had indulged in corruption in every Department and even in the purchase of mattresses and pillows for the poor SC/ST children, and brought disrepute to the State. They are dreaming of coming back to power in State but the voters are awake. In Karnataka, the BJP will come back to power, he added.

Former CM B. S. Yediyurappa, Excise and Mandya and Hassan District-In-Charge Minister K. Gopalaiah, Revenue Minister R. Ashok, Sports and Youth Empowerment Minister Dr. K. C. Narayanagowda, MLC Ravikumar, BJP leaders Indresh, C. P. Umesh and others were present.
