Mandya: A youth swept away in water when he slipped and fell into river water at Sangama while having bath.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok (26), a native of Yelahanka in Bengaluru. Ashok came with his family to Sangama to offer Pooja. But while having bath he slipped and was washed away in River Cauvery.
More tan 30 fire personnel are searching for body using boats. Srirangapattana Town Police has registered a case and is investigating.
