Mandya: As ‘Brave Heart’ H Guru who was martyred in the Pulwama tragedy, begins his eternal journey, his mother Chikkolamma has assured to send her grandson to the armed forces to serve the nation, here on Saturday night, February 16.
After the cremating martyr H Guru according to the rituals of the Madiwala community, Chikkolamma was found in tears remembering her son who laid down his life for our country.
Amid pain and grief, she said, “I’m happy that my daughter-in-law (Kalavati, who is wife of Guru) is four-month pregnant and if she delivers a boy, I will definitely send him to the armed forces”.
“I wish and hope that my son Guru takes a rebirth in his wife’s womb and yet again serve the nation”, said Chikkolamma.
Parents of martyr Guru are deciding to send their last son to armed forces as well.
