Mysuru: Subrahmanya Shashti festival was celebrated in many parts of the State, especially South on Thursday December 9.
Special poojas were offered in temples at Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kodagu,Hassan, Chamarajanagara, Mandya , Ramanagara, Tumkuru, Kolar and other Districts. In Kukke Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kannada District, and Ramanathapura in Hassan District witnessed huge crowd of devotees, who lined up to offer poojas.
Many temples organised car festivals to mark the celebration.
