Mysuru: A minor fire erupted on the campus of Maharaja’s PU College were the ballot boxes of the Gram Panchayat Elections have been stored for counting on Tuesday.
The incident happened late night on Tuesday when the Miniature Circuit breaker, caught fire on the campus premises. The police officials called the fire personnel who took over the fire and succeeded to bring out the ballot boxes without any damages
Deputy commissioner C Shika, Tashildar, Naveen Joseph, visited to the spot and assured that there was no damage in the incident.
Naveen Joseph said we have installed high voltage focus lights facilities in the college, and when the power supply increased, the MCB was caught fire, but the ballot box room was out of danger.
