Mysuru: Former MP H Vishwanath’s son had a miraculous escape after a car being driven by him collided head-on with a goods van near Basaveshwara Temple in K T Nagar on September 19 night.
Reportedly, Vishwanath’s son Purvaj Vishwanath was plying towards Chaandagalu village when his car rammed head-on into a van laden with potatoes. Purvaj Vishwanath who sustained injuries in the accident has been admitted to an ICU in a private hospital. Four people who were in the van too were injured in the mishap.
The impact of the collision was such that the car and auto rickshaw were completely crushed.
K R Nagar police visited the spot and investigations are on.
